Making a fairy house

I have been making a fairy house out of a gourd.

It is still a work in progress but it is a project I have been wanting to do for some time.

New leaf Gourd

I recently finished a new gourd.  I really do like the way this one came out using different color dyes.  I sell them on occasion and so if anyone is interested, please let me know.  :)

A Carved Gourd

I have been busy trying to put my house and get over a sinus infection.  When I say busy, I mean barely moving and trying to motivate myself to move!  Ugh I hate it when you clean alittle bit and then want to just take a nap!

Anyhow I wanted to post some photos of my gourd carving.  Here is one I did a while ago that I think came out ok! :)

I havent done any in a while due to the business of life, but hope to work on some more soon!

Oh the excitement!

Earlier today Sweetheart came home after heading over to the "gourd guy".  Bad news- we learned he isnt going to grow gourds anymore due to his age.  The good news is that he sold Sweetheart all the rest of his gourds for a very low price!!  I feel like I scored!
