Valentine Tree Quilt

Here is my latest project.  A Valentine's present for my guy...

I had wanted to do something that he would use, and enjoy.  But also something that would remind him how much I have come to feel for him.  He has been a rock for me these past months and wants to give us a new happy future.  Something I thought would never happen after losing my late husband to a sudden heart attack.

I am very pleased with the way it came out.  I found tree material at Craft Warehouse.  I also backed it with a soft soft material perfect for snuggling.

I wanted it to look like our initials were literally cut out of the wood material.

I am so excited to give it to him.  I wont be able to wait until Valentines Day! :)

My Valentines Decor

Now that Im done selling Christmas trees and New Years fireworks, life is calming down somewhat.  I still have to muck out all the nooks and crannies that have gathered trash and clutter while I was busy.  I hate it but it has to be done!  I did put all the Holiday decor away - FINALLY and got out my Valentines decor.  Here are some photos.....

My  X and O Valentines lights!  I keep one tree up in my office that is snowy- and since it is still snowy I have made it into a Valentine's tree.

I made the ornaments a few years ago.

Anyhow - that is about my extent of my Valentines day.  I have also been gearing up for more Dove Chocolate Parties.  Dove I having a HUGE warehouse sale during the month of January.
